COLLAPSE(open or close unwanted categorys)ON FORUM INDEX

Greetings to all the members here and to all the people that keep the forumotion alive.

I have a suggestion for my forum...(and i believe that everybody would benefit from this option).

-To get to the point:
Since my forum has a lot of categories(its really long) it’s difficult to scroll up/down all the time when you need to find something...
So im asking you to put in(enable)an option on the starting(INDEX)page of the forum.
The option is called COLLAPSE CATEGORY(open or close unwanted categorys) .

this option…

It's an interesting idea and it would be nice to have it at some point, but with the ability to make sub-forums, I'm not sure how much scrolling you need to do if you organized your forum properly.

I'll vote yes right now, but there's other suggestions I would rather see made possible before this.

If u dont need that just switch off and i know for sub-forums option and i using that too ... my forum is fine i have 285 members .... but i need that option realy

and i dont see what is problem, to put that php code in your system ... 10 min of job..... maybe less

You're not supposed to use Bold. I am all for the idea. I think that a lot of forumotion users would benefit from it.

i voted yea if the admin has the option to allow it or not.
if i'm not wrong only vbulletin has that.
