Multi quoting Empty Multi quoting

Would it be possible to be able to quote multiple posts when you reply a topic? Invision and vBulletin both have that feature and it comes in very handy sometimes.

I do it manually. By clicking the quote button on the first one, then either using copy and paste for the quote tags, change the name between the " " 's, scroll down the page to topic review, copy and paste the other person you want to quote, and put it all together.

You can also use the quote buttons and add the =" " after the word quote in the first tag.

To split your quote like this. I copy the entire quote, and paste it the second time in the post, and delete the parts I don't need.

Sure it takes extra work but at least it can be possible.

I am a member on an invision and a vBulletin and have not seen that feature other than what I am doing. Then again I don't post there much, and I may have not noticed or it is fairly new.

Good idea, but first check to make sure this has not already been suggested or it will be locked.

I do that, and its very annoying. Especially when my connection is lagging.

Poll added. Though there is only one correct answer and you all know what it is.

When the connection is lagging its a real hassle.

Besides its a convenient feature, like quick reply and bbcode. And if I may add the forum types like Invision and vBulletin have it. If you're not going to have that feature then why have quick reply or bbcode? Why not just normal reply and use plain html?

i think it will be better aswell i cant stand going to my forums to quote 3/5 chatters at a time and spend like 15 mins doing it it would make it better if we could just have the quote setup for you and no more messing about Neutral

the point for multi quote is to make it easier to quote more then 1 person, if i want to quote 5 people i dont want to copy and past stuff that takes 5 min, when i can just click 5 button's like this

A multi quote feature would be good to have as doing it the other way could only just confuse members and they would just PM the staff and ask how you multi quote. The staff are hard working enough. I vote Yes! Wink
