I suggest... a new CHAT BOX

Have tons of difficult with the chat box that they have provided.
People who goes on it and chat...
it takes 10 seconds before their message appear with extreme delay on it.
One of the worst chat box I've seen in my life.
No offense.

That is why they should get a new chat box!
One that is like AIM, MSN, Yahoo, etc.
Those type, if they can get those, WOW !!! THAT WOULD BE AMAZING !!!

I voted no because i like the chat box we have right now. I do not have a problem with it and i like the features like /ban /clear. My members like the chatbox also so I am just going to stick with this one for now.

If you want to get another kind of chat feature, try to find it on the web and get the code and paste it in the index. I have seen lots of forums do this.

my vote is a big YES.

My forum is always very active, at the launch we were satisfied with the chatbox, but due to it being slow, we tried going for something else, as we need a faster way of comunication last few months, and posts just doesnt do it.

At the moment we use a chat-program (no telling which as i dont want to advertice) to satisfy our needs... BUT if the forum itself could have a chatbox that reacts fast enough, it would be awsome
so we dont need to do plural things to get what we could get from our forum itself.

Although i can see what everyone's saying, its just something your keeping the guys busy with, i have no lag, again my forum likes the chatbox, clean and simple

I dont like messengers like aim and yahoo, think maybe there should be an option to pick what type of chatbox to have!!!!!!

Yah, we should get a new chat box, with a faster response like AIM, XFire, MSN, Yahoo, etc.

Like, the moment your member talk in the chat box, the moment they press enter, you can see their message. Not wait like 10 second for it.

And when you do get a new chat box, we should also have the same commands as the old chat box. /ban,/kick,/suspend, etc.

i would not feel the new chatbox if its still dull... no one talking no one theres, still suggest that chatbox should be connected to every forums

like the same chatbox is networked together that would be cool chat with other people on each others forums

Cause, don't you seriously hate it that when your friends talk to you, you have to wait like a 10second response time before you can even see their message? Is really ignoring.

yes.. I hate it when I post and have to wait atleast 5.. 10 seconds? also, sometimes.. when we have different time zones, when she posts first then I post like 20 seconds after her.. mine appears first O_O weird..

i think that this one is pretty good, but if you guys want a better designed, new one... thats nice idea

I say yes, but just a re design rather than a new one.

What i suggest is that you be allowed to re design it urself, or for it to be redesigned, the message box is too small and sometimes it doesnt look good. I would modit for my forum myself, but, it uses some php to generate some stuff, which ucant do urself , and maybe a slim line version for use as a widget.

So, i say yes, just re design and code it, shouldnt be hard, just a few hours in dream weaver and maybe even photoshop will do it, i just want it so u can customise it

a yes from me... the chatbox is a hassle when making themes ...the CSS script is integrated with many other classes and its a problem

i also agree to make a new chatbox...my suggestion...didn't put the log-in. it automaticly log-in with user log-in.

it is very cool if the chatbox is like shoutbox...

Pick up the speed rate but keep it exactly as it is.

a yes from me. but this would be very hard to do because you would have to connect all the forums in a simgle space. and with so many created a day it would break down.

u guys could get a xat chatbox like on http://wiiownagearmy.darkbb.com/portal.htm THEY WORK GREAT and have 5 diff ranks on it. plus u can even have a customizable bg.
