Have you ever wanted to place an image onto your forum's background, but you aren't exactly a genius at coding? I know that I have.

The Concept
Administrators would be able to upload images via the Administration Panel to be placed onto their forum's background for every one of their users to see.

Click on the link above to see the full image.

Directions
Not real, just an idea of what you would have to do.

Click on the preview of your uploaded image to select it.
Drag it over onto the preview of your forum.
Position the image onto the header or the background.
Click on PREVIEW to preview your modifications and SAVE to make it visible to your users.

If you would want to delete an image you put up, all you would have to do is remove the link from the upload box, or click on your image on the preview screen and press "DELETE" at the bottom of the page.

Questions you may ask...

What about everything else besides the background and the header, where would the image go?

The image would not be able to be placed in those areas. The image you have selected would become faded to show that you can not move it there.

What's the point of this idea anyway?

It's to add a little more style to our Forumotion Forums. Not only that, this feature may also attract users to your forum.

Wouldn't too many of these images cause your forum to be laggy? (Run slow)

No. Up to 8 images would be allowed to be uploaded onto your header or background, and .gif images would not be allowed. Only .jpg and .png files would be accepted. (Possibly .bmp files too)

There would also be a size limit to the images you upload. The images can't be too big. Another function that could possibly come from this would be an "auto-resizing" feature. This feature could take an image that is 600x400 and crop it down to 190x150.

If you guys have any other ideas to improve this idea, post it. Wink

Personally, I don't understand the script generator at all. This idea would be 10x easier than just thinking so hard on how to even work the generator.
