Would a Ban Appeal System be useful for our forums?
Offence/Ban Appeal System
I thought it would be useful for our forums to have a offence/ban appeal system.
In other words, for each offence committed, members can appeal them to the administrator, and if successful, the offence and any infractions issued, will be removed from their account. If unsuccessful, the offence and infractions will remain on their account.
The more offences committed, the more infractions, and the more offences that can be appealed. Eventually, a suspension or a permanent ban will take place. They can be appealed as well.
Also, the administrator can decide whether or not certain offences are appealable (not in general, for each member), and whether or not bans are appealable (again, for each member).
What do you think?

Well, actually you can script this yourself with HTML in a HTML page. All you need is an e-mail address and some basic HTML knowledge.
Re: Offence/Ban Appeal System
I voted No, for the simple fact, That as Admin on my forum. My Final word is the Last say when regarding regulating my forum, and most importantly, I would not want members disputing my decisions, as I also trust my staff to make the right decisions in regards to any such issues.
In my opinion, it would just open up more opportunities to undermine the rules and staff , which I think is just unnecessary really.

Ok then, thanks!Doctor Inferno wrote:Well, actually you can script this yourself with HTML in a HTML page. All you need is an e-mail address and some basic HTML knowledge.
Although I do have some HTML knowledge, would it be possible for someone to show me how I can accomplish an Appeal System?

Re: Offence/Ban Appeal System
Since you can create an Appeal System via HTML, is there any way that this can be shown to me? Perhaps in a tutorial?
