Hi,

Not sure if this description is any good, but i would like a shine to pass across the logo of my site

the logo is

It may need the background colour removing and being made transparent.

The shine i want is like a silver line shine going from left to right.

is it just me, or is this hard to read? Seems very blurry to me, and hard on the eyes. Sorry Timmy, just my opinion...I personally don't like it.

I didn't make it though, just made it transparent and added a line through the gray bit.

Nice how did you get it away from the black background, it took me ages? becaue the outline was black aswell

@ timmy ... the logo had a gray outline and then a black one inside it...
I just used photoshops magic eraser and I had the black parts gone in 3,234456 seconds.... then i added gloss.

the easiest way on photoshop to do that is to use the magic eraser tool. set the tolerance to 5 and it should all remov perfectly.

@Jalokim: Thanks mam, i probs just have a rubbish magic erasor, it was set to 1 and said that the outline was black >.<

that looks good, only thing i would say is the slant of the shine is a bit to upright but other than that it's great
