I think it's kind of bad you can't ignore someone who is an admin or mod

I Don't Agree With You. Admins/ Moderatros Are There To Run The Forum And There For Should Not Be Ignored. I Vote No For This One.

I also agree with them.. Admins/Mod are suppose to run the forum and give out important announcements to members/users. If you ignored them, and they choose to change the domain of the site, then everyone would no, but you. So i definitely vote "no".

Then just inform the main admin/owner of that site and tell him why they should unadmin "that guy".

I know what you're saying " insanitylater" but its a bad idea to allow members to ignore the admin and mods, your forum will soon go into chaos without anybody to "guide people" to follow the rules. I would never stay on a forum though where the admin or mods where arrogant or rude to its members (little tin pot hitlers as we call them ) Forums with staff like that tends to give the place a bad Karma anyway. too much of that attitude by forum staff these days on many forums, which is the reason i made my own in the first place and nearly everyone of my members have given horror stories of bullying, ridicule, and belittling on other forums by its admins or mods, so i understand where you are coming from in this poll Smile

That's The Same Exact Thing I Told Him. An Admin Could Give Out A New Domain Address For The Site. Then, You Wouldn't Be Able To See What That New Site Domain Is. And Then..Your Screwed.

Resounding "no".

Mods and Admins are the law, and nobody gets to pretend they're just not there. They speak, and you listen, whether you like what they have to say or not, because they're the supreme authority. They can be a total jerk, but they still wear the badge and they're still judge, jury, and executioner, and nobody can avoid them.

No, no, and more no.

If you ignore a mod/admin,what will happen next?

I agree with everyone who voted no,because if there is a forum that allows normal members to ignore leaders of the forum, then the forum will get a big tumbs down, Thumb down

=>Voted,and it's a no...

As well as what everyone else has said, what if they had to give a warning for behavior? You wouldn't get it, and possibly continue the behavior, then... ban. But just the fact that you wouldn't know the important info they have to say alone is enough for me to have to say 'no'.

I seriously do not like this suggestion. If you ignore all of the staff, then you can do a whole lot more and you could eventually destroy the forum. Voted no.

BIG no-no.

If a user can ignore members of higher ranks, whats the point of having the rankings at all?

Admins and mods should not be ignored. I'd say 80% of their posts are important.

well I think your boss at work is or is going to be very proud of you if you ignore him.

same goes for forum staff.

If there is a cra*p moderator or even admin, well that just show splendid administration skills. the founder should speak to this person.
unless its the founder himself... in that case I wouldn't want to stay around
