This is like if you warn a member too much you can mute them. When the admin turns it on, the member cannot send or recieve pms and tey can't post.

wait... we dont have this already?
i feel stupid now, i made a guideline for my moderators to mute people after so many warnings.
I guess they cant even do that.

This would be the same thing as banning, except a member is able to access into the forum if they're not baned.

you could, but thats kind of douche. some one has a bad day, and gets out of line. the only thing you can do is ban them. idk, most places ive been to have mute. but i guess a temp ban works just as well.
