reply for a certain comment Empty reply for a certain comment

Hi, Hello
I'm looking for a possibility whether there is....to reply for a certain comment without quoting all the previous message, so instead of long quotes we would use the number and the author of the previous comment as a link (pointing to the previous command) with a button as "previous"
I think the best solution is, not a single "answer" button in the top and/or the bottom of the site, but a lots of answer buttons in all the commandboxes, said "reply to this certain command"
without this, it's so much harder following the thread of the different conversations ...

sorry because my english, I hope I expressed myself clearly enough:-))

Thanx a lot!!!! banana
i really like this forum, you did great job!!! rock thumright

here is a sample....sorry it is hungarian
netboard forum
válasz erre=reply to this command
előzmény=previous command
bye

I'm going to say "NO" to this.

My reason being, all you have to do is click the 'Quote' button and then edit out the bits you don't want.

So if you quote two/three people's quotes, get the bits you want to emphasise your point you are making in your posts and delete the rest OR.. highlight the parts you want to make your point about.. OR make them into individual quotes and reply to all underneath.

Ok, I don't know why would be that big poblem for U anther solution, and another button with it...if U don't want to use it so don't do!!!

Yes, my problem is the same that u wrote as an advantage:
I don't want to see the previous message in my comment box....if U inerested in U can easily find the previous one, and the previous one, and etc...but otherwise it's a waste of space, I think.
How could you easily follow the thread of a conversation....sometimes it goes through 15-20 comments....U wanna do with quote in quote, or just quote the last one, and after it...I really don't know how to look for the previous one.....
and sorry if I seem a little bit constant, but we use this form in another forum for years, and our topic has soooo much biger life then others I read....it means...411068. commands in one topic..... so believe me it works....
using such a type of forums U need so much more topics, to chat about a certain thing....we can chat about anything...in only one topic, so we cannot separate, and consequently we became a great forum group, and a great gang in real life....

my comment became much bigger then without "quote"....and we would replace it with a comment number as a link...and U wouldn't have to edit the quote also... rock
