chatbox history

I was wondering about having a chatbox history in the admin section so we can see what they wrote and moditor the forums even better.
that way if they are talking about something bad and they erase it ..then we (the admins) can still view the information.

I just did it..
and WOW this must really be a good idea..
b.c. I've had alot of...(I will hack you)
and ect ect.
but i don't have any proof afterwards soo it makes no sense to even TRY to solve a case...btw I though of this last night.

There is a chatbox history...click Archives on the chat box, but you cant clear the box otherwise it wont show.

no that isn't chatbox history cuz if you clear it then it will not show and...
the archives erase over time..I am looking for somthing that keeps EVERY single little message that has ever been sent on the chatbox even if it IS cleared...
with EXACT times and dates on it..

aaa, wrong program...but that then makes the archives in our chatbox useless...explain that please.

Not really, because if a user signs on in the middle of a conversation, then they can go back into the archive and get the gist of the conversation before chiming in. And since only the admins would have access to the list that omgforum is referring to, it still gives the members a chance to see who was on and what was said, but only for a short time. Smile

Yeah that is why I want something where it veiws every time ANYONE was in the chatbox even if it is cleared but it would be inside the admin panel..
and it would NEVER go away it would stay there forever if a person writes it then it goes in there and stays

I have had a few members tell me that other member have broke rules in the chatbox, but I have been unable to check. Great idea. Voted yes!
