• LIVE radio show coming up for the BBB's 1 Year Anniversary. We're going to have a blast chatting and we're giving everyone the chance to create a jingle for the BBB...They must call in on the live show and sing their jingle. Whoever has the best jingle can pick a charity of their choice and the BBB will donate $15. More details will be posted soon.

• Updates for the Graphic Boutique, guidelines added. Some boards have been re-arranges and will continue to be moved as I have time.

On Tuesday April 13th at 11:30 pm (eastern) to 1:00 am (eastern) we will be hosting a LIVE radio/chat show. You will find the chatroom and radio show airing on the following link: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/bbbforumradio/2010/04/14/bitch-radio

Click on that and you can hit the REMINDER button. You'll get an e-mail before the show starts with the link and call-in number.

The call in number is (347) 994-3536 and it may charge you depending on what plan you have. HOWEVER, you can call in from your computer as well. There is an option on the page and you just follow the directions.

HOW IT WORKS: Basically at exactly 11:30 the page SHOULD refresh. If it doesn't and nothing happens quickly refresh the page. If you get any error pop up just refresh again. You'll then see a chat room open in which you can chat with the hosts and everyone else. You MUST be logged in to BTR to chat, it's free! The hosts won't be able to talk much in the chat room but you can leave us questions in the chatroom and we'll answer them as we see them. Keep in mind we're about half a minute a head of what you're hearing. So if you call in please keep your speakers turned DOWN so there isn't an echo.

I just wanted to take a minute to acknowledge that one of our LONG TIME members Paula aka Lynx lost her 2nd battle with cancer, and has passed away this month. Our forum will be taking all of our paypal funds and donating them between three of Paula's top charities (American Cancer Society, Humane League, & Autism Awareness), and we'll be taking donations from all of our members over the next few weeks. We will also be running an entire week of Cancer Awareness where all members will choose a cancer to find information on and we'll take an entire week to post as much information as we can. With all the cancer's out there, we're all bound to learn a little something and help each other be more aware.

No other updates other than the forum is quieting down for the summer and we'll re-vamp & start up activities again in July/August.

• We are currently working on planning our our July re-vamp.
• We just did a Live Radio Show last night and used it as a newsletter of sort to talk about the revamp, updates, and our new sister site.
• We are taking donations for Paula until June 1st =) <3

COMPLETE REVAMP ~ Finished =)
Over the past week the Staff has been working on archiving old posts, getting rid of guest topics & replies, locking and un-sticking posts, etc.
Finally, this morning we put the forum on holiday mode and spend several hours re-doing the layout, portal, board organization, permissions, topic icons, smilies, & more. We also have a complete staff team and our task lists are finalized and we are ready to start up our activities & contests again. We think this will be a better year than last!

Quick June Updates:
• Member Sweep is nearly finished.
• Our members donated enough money to renew our domain name & we have extra left over for something else.
• Our paypal account was cleaned out. We donated $172.00 to 3 charities in the name of Paula, a loved member that passed away this year. (American Cancer Society, Autism Awareness, & The Humane League)
• Yolanda donated $5 to start our Paypal acct. back up for prizes!
• A lot of changes were made to our forum as far as layout, boards being cleaned up, & we're still not finished. More to come soon!

Updates:
Last nights Live Radio Show went great! We did 'Music & Movies' for the theme and also did some forum updates. We're going to start doing 2 shows a month come July...hopefully we can do a day show so our members can ALL get on, our shows are usually very late. Replay can be heard on the What's New page.

We're adding 2 more VIP ELITE boards, announced them on the radio show.

After a year and a half together at the BBB, we decided to make a change and move to a different forum. We have officially launched the new site and are doing great so far. The new site is for WOMEN ONLY, 20 year +. We have a live internet radio show, customized tool bar, contests & activities with REAL prizes, blogs, 120+ message boards, & more.

19 days old and going STRONG!
We are looking at a layout change though...we're having issues with the signature and a few other things. But it was voted on and agreed, so a layout change is coming up all ready.

We just hit 5,000 messages (579 topics), and haave 48 members. All are active but 4, so a member sweep is coming soon.

We have some activities going on:
- November Post-The-Most Contest...1st place gets a brand new dvd of ECLIPSE, the twilight saga shipped to their house when it comes out on 12/4.
- We have a Halloween themed Photo Contest going on...the prize is a MYSTERY!!! It could be bitch ca$h, a customized siggy, or something from an online store.
- There is a Siggy & Avi contest going on for some Bitch Ca$h.

PTM for November started today! 1st price will get a copy of the double disc ECLIPSE (twilight saga) on dvd, shipped directly to their house on 12/4.

It's been requested that we have a chat schedule set up, so I composed a temp one to see how it works for November. If this goes well we'll get some chat nights that will be permanent and get a chat host or two.

NEW layout. Much different from our previous layouts, but I am trying it out to see how it goes. Everyone seems to like it and it seems more of our style.

PTM started on 11/28 and will run for 2 weeks, we have a great sign up.

The layout and graphics are going to be re-done over the next few weeks.

Last night (Friday) marked our very first Chat night for the new forum. We had about 15 people in for the most part and about 6-7 of our members were on webcam and chatting through their mics. It was very successful and fun, and went well over 2 hours. It was so popular that it's requested we do at least one a week, though I'm sure we can managed even more than that!

Starting in January we have a Biggest Loser dieting challenge coming up and BINGO will begin!

If you're a female and looking for some interaction with other mom's and non-moms, feel free to join our wacky forum! We also have a Guest board if anyone wants to chat with us and ask questions. =)

I don't think you're supposed to be posting on another members thread.
Just thought I'd point that out, but since you did...
The name was chosen and voted on by our members! We're not like most groups that want hundreds of members that post a bunch of crap or just sit there inactive. More than half of our members have known each other for several years online and off, so it's really not an issue for us. We like our site name and it fits with our previous forums.

Sorry it bothers you though...

NEW FOR 2012:
- We have new Business, Personal, & Graphic Boutiques! This is a great way to help our members with home or online businesses and blogs advertise.
- One of our personal boutiques will be a Pixel Shop for our forum with some awesome pixel graphics that each member can use their forum cash for.

We had to make some changes in the staff and now have a new Administrator to help me out. She has had 7 years of experience with her on forum on V-Bulletin in the past and has had so many great idea's for SAS.
