Solved How to make a forums/category title text appear larger in a list?

Post by Brad38 January 1st 2009, 9:03 pm

Another question...I know and I'm sorry. Sad But I'm curious on how I can make my category titles larger when viewing a listing of your forums new posts.

I'm using PhpBB3 and when you display a list of new posts, you get the title of the post and which forum it's in. However, the title of the forum is quite small and I would like it to be a bit bigger of a font. My forum is using a hitskin from Jalokim so all CSS codes take priority over the basic functions in your admin control panel.

I just need to know which line in the CSS controls how large the text is for a forum and when listing of the posts. Here is an example of what I mean exactly:

In this example "Dogs" is the category in a particular forum, but I would like that text to be larger than it currently is.

Thanks in advance for any help I can get....I need it! affraid

Did the [size] BBCode work when you were configuring this?

To increase it. Use this to modify you current forums & categories name
Code:
<font size="4">Category Name</font>
Increase or decrease the font size according to your preference.

See if it works.

Hi Sanket and Rok,

I don't want to increase the size of my forum titles from the index/home page. When you search your forums under any particular category you get a listing of the posts. In phpbb3 it shows you under the post title who posted it and which forum it's in. I only would like to increase the size of the forum title that way. Hope you understand what I mean. Smile

I don't think its possible to do in phpbb3 for that specific search thing. If you want you can increase the font size for the overall forum. This could be done by,
Display>Colors
Main Font Size :Increase it to your preference.
