In admin panel >>general>>configuration
select activate ads select Guest

Plus you allow images and video formats for your ads select NO

and click on save to see if that helps

Where do the ads show up?
cause I never see them (on my website) Always seen ads on peoples websites but my website does not show them!

I don't see any wrestling ad, i see a dell ad.
Also, do as musket said. That will change to text ads after a while.

I didn't use to get advertising in my forums. Now, they are at the top, and, turning people away. Plus, they are putting adware viruses in my computer. How do I stop this?

forumotion used to have it that you would get no adds for like a month or so befor they started.
this has been changed a few times so i am unsure how it works now.
But anyway.

You can either pay to have them completely removed by buying credits.
Or you just set them for guest. so once your members are logged in then they will no longer see the ad's while being logged in to your forum.

Admin panel>general>configuration

scroll down to activate ad's,select guest and hit save.
