(v2) Cobaltech

Post by Jalokim on February 1st 2009, 1:09 pm

I think I have decided on making fixed width themes... the v3's are not that nice and its a tonne more work to put in.
This theme is a technical theme... something space-aged. I promise that the next theme will be for the girls ! Yes i'm planning something in passion pink... and something red... for sanket...

but for now... cobaltech.

of course hitskin screwed up my preview... but I have almost cracked it... i think I know how to fix this hitskin preview problem.

install here

Advanced update update
Just ignore the navbar problem its not really there

Jalo, by God make something different in color. All that out there is Blue, gray, green.

Now the images and such are nice.

Personally, I think this isn't your best. You are better than this. The gray behind the nav bar irritates me.

8/10

the grey behind the navbar doesn't exist... hitskin made it up out of no-where.
I think the theme is fine... but its definatly not my max... and as mentioned before... I'll be going pink in the next installment... Razz

thanks for your comments

Beautiful skin, even I like it more than Jaded, but same problem like there (PM and Profile buttons unaligned)... But I like color scheme and awesome buttons, very easy to read (white text on black).

Any chance that we see that theme as v3 (I know that You said u decided fixed size, but no harm to ask Very Happy )?

but on not my 24" widescreen Smile still it's a good effort Jalokim...well done

Cobalt v2 advanced profile fix - 05/05/2009

Along with merlinz we completed the CSS update.
Grab it here

Installation is simple... copy the entire text from the .txt and paste it in your css.

update features:
Advanced profile compatability
Chatbox fix (not 100% but better than last time)
login boxes
popup login box
and general fix ups

I hope this gets rid of most the update bugs.

Torres, you have to disable the default CSS.
Go to your css (admin panel-> display-> colors -> css tab)
scroll to the bottom
->Deactivate the basic CSS : YES

Jalokim, I have a problem about this theme... I hope you know how to fix it...

Here's the new forum I want to open:
http://matematika.darkbb.com/forum.htm

The right forum widget space cannot be removed... I set the width in the admin panel to 0!

What can I do about this?

go to your modules -> forum widgets.
make sure there is no widget in the right widget box ... and set it to 0 pixles... and save...

if this doesn't work... try installing a default theme and then install the cobalt again.
the theme is not the problem, your forum is not chagning the widgets... that sometimes happens
