Why did you choose forumotion?

Post by Darren1 on February 7th 2009, 3:13 am

First topic message reminder :

Why did YOU Guest chose forumotion, over some other companies?

I myself, chose forumotion over other companies because of:
The simplicity of their admin panel,
Many friends recommendation (and I recommend forumotion now myself)
The amount of support offered here on the support forum, coinciding with the time it takes to receive support.

Well, forumotion is good.. Their free, easy to use (for those who dont know much techy stuff) and they got nice addons, Hitskin (says it all lol), and Good customer support. Plus, great servers (gah, ive tried many diff free hosts, man they fail lol) Anyways, i think forumotion is a good place to start a forum. I give them a 10/10 Wink

actually i figured that there were free forums when i was on a forum of a friend of mine, it was forumotion I tried it, made my own forum and I never have been dissapointed by it

i thought that there were other free phpbb sites better then forumotion but... WRONG
forumotion is definately the best bcuz of the simplicity of the ACP and the 3000 skins lol love it!!!

1. I used to have phpbb3, and it didn't let me do stuff I wanted to do.
2. My friend suggested switching to forumotion.
3. The support forums are really helpful for the times I've used it.

- Easy to use, yet still allowes the editing / adding of coding
- You don't need to pay for hosting
- Way cheaper than vBulliten (free, unless you buy upgrades)
- Great Support

-Mainly build on php system it's very effective, easy to process,
-Allows CSS
-Allows HTML
-Allows Custom Domain
-Includes many mods like, skype, gallery, welcome pm on login, pm pop-up, wysiwyg editor and quickreply box, have its own seo mod (htm thing not php) print mod, send to friend or admin mod, some basical bbcodes, title color mods, rep. system and more.
-Have a tech team who i think focusing on the phpbb updates and trying to adaptate them to forumotion database.
-Quick server speed, not waiting hours to connect or send post.

Basicly all these are enough to stay with forumotion i think.
