Why did you choose forumotion?
First topic message reminder :
Why did YOU Guest chose forumotion, over some other companies?
I myself, chose forumotion over other companies because of:
The simplicity of their admin panel,
Many friends recommendation (and I recommend forumotion now myself)
The amount of support offered here on the support forum, coinciding with the time it takes to receive support.

because of you Darren. I saw you here and couldn't stop thinking about you

Re: Why did you choose forumotion?
Because, I have many friends who use Forumotion,
There's a nice community on the Support Site, great Moderators and Admins,
The Admin Panel is simple and nice.
And more

Darren, what do you mean with "we need to replace the mother"?
Why?

Why?
Long story short:
A long loved (now ex) staff member has left the forum, whom take the place of the "Mother" figure.

-Sigh- Nessa didnt leave, nor does he want her to, Skittles was the mother and she left

Re: Why did you choose forumotion?
Aha, now I get it.
Skittles left, and he wants Nessa as the "new" Skittles.

Re: Why did you choose forumotion?
Guys, Skittles was the "mother" figure, and she left.
Nessa has NOT left (will she ever (: ) and im suggesting to her that she should take up that "mother" roll, as she's the female GMod.
Now, lets return to what should be the topic;
Anyone else wanna share why they chose Forumotion over other free forums?

lolz.
And drag it's even closer now - YOU can just ask for it, unlike some less coder (like myself) wouldn't get that privileged of doing, because were not in Jalo's tight nit circuit.
Anyone else?

Re: Why did you choose forumotion?
-Free Updates In my experience the update is probably the best user-to-host feature out there.
-Tech Support When something is wrong with the servers or there is an error--it is fixed almost immediately. Fast & Efficient.
-Easy, Simple, & Fun I've never used such as awesome Admin Panel before. It's so simple to use--yet is loaded with features that you learn more about everyday. It can almost be overwhelming for someone who is thinking--"Wow. Can this really be free?"
-Support Forums I've been using Forumotion for about 2 years now. I haven't really been to the support forums that often but I've been dropping in more and more as of late just because of the nice people. Very user friendly staff. Major plus.
-Customization Is off the charts with so many ways you can make the forums your own. Not only that but this user "Jalokim," I've never met or talked to the guy; however, I see a lot of his GFX works around and I see hwo respected he is for it. So Kudos to him for that.
-Placement Google seems to rate this site pretty high as well
-Groups A lot of free forum hosting sites would not allow new user groups to be colored and made and such like Forumotion does. At least back two years ago they didn't.
-Extras, Widgets, XHTML, CSS, etc There are so many programming and scripting opportunities to customize a forum--it blows my mind. I for one come on here and learn something new about what exactly you can do with codes that I didn't even think the forums supported. It's awesome.

Re: Why did you choose forumotion?
I figured I should be here, since I'm a ForuMansion mod. I'm not saying that I feel obligated to be here, but I want to be here to help people at ForuMansion from here and help people here from here.

Re: Why did you choose forumotion?
*It has very simple admin panel, easy to manage with
*It gives me the posibility to choose huge number of skins by cooperating with hitskin
*It has many functions and often new updates which is excellent for refreshing the forum with new stuff ^^
That's some of it but there are many many more which I'll write next time

Re: Why did you choose forumotion?
It's simple why I chose FM over all the competitors.
For one, it's free. Although that doesn't say a lot, as there are a ton of free options, this is still the best in my opinion. The support forum is the most active and helpful of all the ones I've been on. The admin panel is simple, easily navigated. And there are just a whole load of better options for your forum through FM. There are a few other things I'd like in the FM forums that I've seen elsewhere, but after searching through the Suggestion forum, all of my ideas are already in there, and probably being taken into consideration.
Long story short, it's the best free option.

Re: Why did you choose forumotion?
I picked forumotion because you can edit it.
(examples are Jalokims forum and my forum (still under development))
It has way more possiblety's then other hosts.
Most people prefer vBull because of its layout and options.
But if you can code a bit like me you will be able to do the same with a forumotion forum

Many friends recommendation (and I recommend forumotion now myself)
The amount of support offered here on the support forum, coinciding with the time it takes to receive support.
Myself, I was a member of another forum hosted on the service, and was initially imporessed from a user aspect. Gave it a shot, and I'm glad I did. The ease of customization is an AWESOME feature here, as well as the ease of tying in multiple projects.
