Why did you choose forumotion?

Post by Darren1 on February 7th 2009, 3:13 am

First topic message reminder :

Why did YOU Guest chose forumotion, over some other companies?

I myself, chose forumotion over other companies because of:
The simplicity of their admin panel,
Many friends recommendation (and I recommend forumotion now myself)
The amount of support offered here on the support forum, coinciding with the time it takes to receive support.

1.It was free.
2.I made loads of phpBB back in the days.
3.ACP & Can change Version.
4.Kind of like a vBullitin.(I was a CO-Admin)
5.And, hoping later they add phpBB 4.0 Beta
6.And the, Addons.

And that why I picked Forumotion.

It's Free
Good help forum,
Good fast host,
Friendly staff and users,
The ACP is really easy to use,
Good range of fourms to pick from,
Really easy to get skins and make then,
Lots more could come to mind if i think of it longer.

Re: Why did you choose forumotion?

Post by girishia on January 5th 2013, 3:01 pm

I read about forumotion in an IT sort of magazine and as I was only a high school student then I didn't know much about working with forums but my friends and I did need a place of our own to discuss our shared interest (which was still very unpopular where I lived back then).

I didn't expect my (our) forums to grow this much over the years and thanks to that I've come to know a lot of other people who shared that same interest. But anyway, without forumotion I doubt we could get this far
so forumotion staff, you have my (our) gratitude Very Happy

What majorly affected me was the amount of bandwidth you could use. I had been hosting my site elsewhere, and then I was almost fined and my site was shut down on another host for it! I then began searching, found quite a few sites, but the easy accessibility of the ACP and the help forums appealed to me greatly. I enjoyed the EASY customization and friendly members.

I picked it, because of how simple it is to use, and set-up.
Also, because i'm familiar with it much more then most other company's.

Why I Chose forumotion

Post by Guest on January 16th 2013, 3:28 pm

I chose forumotion for the following reasons:

1) Because it offers so much more than other providers.
2) You can make use of so many great features free of charge.
3) forumotion is a forward looking service provider (from my first impressions…)..
4) Support is there to be seen…
5) The sheer simplicity of the forum and integral admin panel is a breath of fresh air.
