Permissions for groups

Post by CoRE_-D4M4G3D on March 28th 2009, 6:39 am

We should be able to give groups certain permissions, no not into the forum, but more editing wise. Like in the profile you have the drop down menu for people who can edit it, and it is Admin, Mod, Member, or Guest well we should be allowed to put our groups that we created in that drop down menu, and then order them in terms of power just like member to mod to admin. So if it was successfull, i could go to user & groups then profiles, and then the drop down menu i can select a group that I CREATED, and any position higher can also do the same thing. Also if i wanted a specific group and higher to ban people. I know my explanation is confusing but read it a couple of times and you'll get it.

how could u possibly vot no? It makes things a lot easier, so you can get groups to do those things, without giving them admin panell

err not in the forums, you cannot do this i promise you. Lol i am talking major powers like profile management and ban management but i don't want moderators to do it i want global mods to do it, and it won't let you do it with a group you've created
