Is there, or can we have, something in the new users registeration form that require a code word or something to prove they're human?

You have 4 options

Admin Panel>>User & Groups>>User Options>>Click on User Activation>>Save

Admin Panel>>User & Groups>>User Options>>Admin>>Save - This will make it so that the admin can only active the account

Flood Control

IMAGE VERIFICATION

Anyone of these will help stop spam.

Sorry, I had to post about this again because neither solutions helped (and the topic's already been locked).

The flood control won't be any use against these guys as they only seem to make one post per user account when they open them at the time.

The image verfication couldn't be completed as I'm unable to edit the Redirection URL in the headers and footers for some reason.

Do Forumotion not have any plan to just add a verfication code or image thing to our registeration forms?

Everyday now I'm finding a bunch of (usually new members) spam. But it's not even just the usual rubbish that makes no sense. It's topics and posts with potentionally dangerous links in them, advertising and directing us to somewhere we can download certain software.

The link to IMAGE VERIFICATION needs to be deleted, it's absolutely worthless and doesn't work at all, you cannot remove the original register nav button, not to mention the register link below the log in form, it's ridiculous, even the example forum given in the link allows you register without even clicking the image verification Human Verification Request To Avoid Spam Guish2

The flood control is pretty useless too, considering I'm only getting them post the once a day anyways.
