hiding statistics from non-members?
Hey,
I can't seem to get the statistics to not appear to guests
I have set it to "Registered Users" for Who is allowed to view the statistics online under Authorizations for statistics.

If you have 'Registered Users' activated for the Forum Statistics activation, then there must be a problem occuring.
I recommend you resynch your forum :

You might try setting it through the Special rights also, though usually you only need to change it in either one of those places
Users and groups>>special rights>>choose from list

haha, nope, I signed out and cleared cache so I should be seeing it like everyone else. even tried on another computer. I'll try on a 3rd computer that's never been to the site.

Re: hiding statistics from non-members?
alright, so i just got on that site on a computer that's never been on it before and all the statistics are layed out right there for guests. who's online, who's been on in the last 2 hours, latest member, calandar (nothing on our calander but it's listed and would say if something was on it), who's in the chatbox etc. etc.
you don't have to click anything, it's just right there for everyone to see.

Well that's different! I think everyone thought you meant the stats link...in the footer.DerekW wrote:alright, so i just got on that site on a computer that's never been on it before and all the statistics are layed out right there for guests. who's online, who's been on in the last 2 hours, latest member, calandar (nothing on our calander but it's listed and would say if something was on it), who's in the chatbox etc. etc.

What you want to do is go to Display> structure and hierarchy> scroll down to the hierarchy box and
select
"Display viewonline information box on index :" NO
That will take it off for everyone. To my knowledge there is no way to only take that off for guests.
I don't use invision so if it is different for that version, someone will say so.
