Forum Permissions based on Reputation / Points System

I've been using the points system and reputation features at my board for a while, and my members seem to really like it (most, anyway). I think it would be very useful if there was a way to establish a true incentive for these systems based on members' points/rep status.

Specifically, what I'm thinking of is a points level to be allowed to enter certain forums. Either reputation or points being too low (or high in theory) could cause a member to loose his/her access privileges to specific forums. All of the specifics could be chosen by the admin in the same way that "points given" are set inside points/rep management.

Anyone else like this idea?
