Re: adding flash games through html in a new page
Hello,
Just inset the HTML code that you get from the game site in there.
If you want them in a line, just don't put any break's.
Does this answer ur problem?

Re: adding flash games through html in a new page
I actually devoted a section in games to user posted flash games on my forum. Members may post one flash game per thread and others can comment or vote on them. They are fully compatible if you enable HTML on your forum. In my opinion, it works a bit better than making the pages yourself. You can also limit access to that section in case you are afraid of people posting something you may not like, etc. I was thinking of trying blogs with this method, but when I did that, the first post was the flash game and showed on the front page, so that wasn't good.
Just devote a forum section to Flash Games and tell users to only post one game per topic. Should work out, and you might end up with a variety of games.
(There are also multiple ways to embed games. One is via BBCode, and the other is via HTML. HTML is much easier to work with.)

Re: adding flash games through html in a new page
ok this idea is nice, i will devote a section where users can not post a topic but just can play and reply. and i myself will add games there,
but i did that before and the game didnt show in the topic. the code showed.
how to do that? explain
i think i need to know how to embed games better.

Re: adding flash games through html in a new page
If you are inserting HTML, you need to make sure HTML is enabled for posting, and also viewable by you. There are two places to check. The first is in the admin panel. Go to General, and on the side below Messages, you will see Configuration. Make sure HTML is on. Next, go to your profile edit page, and go to Preferences, and make sure "Always allow HTML" is on. After that, they should turn from code to the game.
Re: adding flash games through html in a new page
well i make both the options on and then added a game,
this time the code is not showing a box is showing but in that box is my portal page instead of the game.... what is this?

Re: adding flash games through html in a new page
Thats because you set the portal page to have the contents of the page which you have made for the games. To change it, just go to the portal widgets editing section in the ACP and change the part where it has forums.
Just testing something:
It worked. ^ To make things easier, make a topic/forum for these types of games and use the flash tags to embed games. Like shown above.

Re: adding flash games through html in a new page
I think that is completely irrelevant to your original question. Have you made a forum/page/widget for your games? Has your original question been answered?
Re: adding flash games through html in a new page
no i have not bucause i didnt know how to do that, i think i need here a complete tutorial for that, can you guide me through all this? i will be glad if you do
Re: adding flash games through html in a new page
Which method: make a HTML page or make a topic and post games etc. ?
Re: adding flash games through html in a new page
i think make a topic is pretty easier, so this is good for me
Re: adding flash games through html in a new page
Make a new topic and dedicate it to games >> When posting, use this syntax:
OR
Embed the code found on the site you got the game from. (make sure html is on).
- Code:
[flash]http://url.com/flash.swf[/flash]
OR
Embed the code found on the site you got the game from. (make sure html is on).

Re: adding flash games through html in a new page
Read here to enable HTML on your forum: https://help.forumotion.com/frequently-asked-questions-f5/enabling-html-t35636.htm
And then just simply post your code in the reply.

Re: adding flash games through html in a new page

Yeah, I must say that is strange. I'm sorry to say that this is as far as I know about the forumotion's HTML system.
