PM's staying in Outbox?

PM's staying in Outbox? Empty PM's staying in Outbox?

Hi, sorry for the dumb question, but it seems my PM's to members of my site are staying in the Outbox. All settings are set for me to be able to send, and this has just recently started happening...any ideas?

Did you ever think to try deleting the messages in the outboxes?

What good would that do, other than making me retype the messages?

EDIT=it did just what I thought it would do...nothing, lol. Thanks for the suggestion though.

It usually means that they haven't read the messages, but I suspect you already know this. Other than that I'm not sure what else to suggest. You could try sending one to someone you know reads messages regularly and ask them to let you know when they've read it so that you can check if it still stays in your outbox.

I'm a Lil confused i am not sure what chadrob30 is asking?
just delete the messages if you no longer want them in there?

Can you explain in a Lil more detail what it is you want to do.

Sure. I send a PM to someone. It stays in the Outbox all day. It never a) gets to the recipient, and b) leaves the Outbox.

did you check you sent messages? may be the person you sent the message to did not receive it yet. and make sure they have permissions to receive ans send Pm's as well.

try this. are you the the admin? if so create another account for a test guy.
after you create another account as a regular member send a pm to the account you just created. make sure the account is activated.

so send a pm to the new account. now log and log in as the new account and check and see if you received the pm.

it makes no difference if the message is in the out box sent box or not. if you have sent the message and you are allow Pm's then the message was sent. so i would test it. unless you want me to send you a pm there or vice versa?
