Yes. Whats so bad about the idea? This has been implemented in so many other forums. Seems like Forumotion is just slow. Disabling the increase in post count for certain parts of your forum is beneficial in looking for quality content.

If one does not like the idea, why not have 2 post counts. One for the total amount of posts, and one for total amount of posts that doesn't include the disabled forums. Smile

Oh, sorry. I though you meant like not making it show up in posts.

Ya, I thought it would've been released shortly after 150 votes for yes or so.

What on Earth? At least a reply from the high-ups would be appreciable. I want to turn off spamming in the spammy forum sections Sad

I WANT THIS!!!

For anyone who says NO:
We aren't talking about getting rid of post count completely. All we want is the OPTION to have post count not increase in certain categories.

(such as advertising sections, or possibly forum game sections)

Having this option enabled would distinguish between the people who post helpful things within the forum, verses the people who enjoy to spam.

It would be optional, so you don't have to use it if you don't want to...

This definitely needs to be an option. I dunno if it's just me but having a high post count is slightly dorkish and I rather it not be there. I should have an option to hide it.

I don't need ranks, I just go there to talk with my friends every now and again.
