Calendar Date/Time Not Correct Empty Calendar Date/Time Not Correct

Post by Kyouri Wed 13 Jan - 15:34

My Calendar is activated and everything works and looks fine, except it changes the date sooner than my board date. My board date (System Timezone) is set to my local time zone but the date on the calendar widget changes based upon FM's time zone. Is there something in the ACP that I'm overlooking?

And I believe this is my last query for the day...

But i guess it must be taking the time when you post a event via your profile.
So whatever time is their in your profile, i think it would consider that & not the board date.

I thought that too, and I double checked and my profile date is set to the same as my board. Question

Also, why do you feel it works according to FM's time zone?

I have not really worked with calendar on FM. But, probably it is set that way then.

It could be the GMT for all I know, but I've been on my board when the calendar widget date changes and it changes hours before my time (I'm -5 GMT). Not saying they have it set to that on purpose, it's just that all the dates on my board match the ACP except for the calendar widget.

Okay, the calendar widget changes 6 hours before my board time. Can this please be moved to tech? Thank you. Smile

bump This is still an issue as it causes the "Today's Active Topics" link to also be off time. Kinda sucks to post something up at 6:01pm my boards time and it be the only thing in the list because everything else posted that day is now considered the previous day. Again, can a mod please move this to tech? Thank you.

Calendar Date/Time Not Correct Empty Re: Calendar Date/Time Not Correct

Post by PaulDPearl Mon 15 Feb - 2:13

I have the same problem...

My date for the forum is set correctly (gmt -6 central time)
My profile date is also correct (though this is completly irrelevant, because the date on the calendar is wrong even if no one is logged in...)

This isn't the biggest deal but I'd like it fixed one way or the other...

The displayed date (i.e. the day that is highlighted) changes early (my guess would be it's using GMT as it's time, and there is no option to change it).

Also, there are other displayed dates on the forum that are displaying in European format even though I have setup a different format.. For instance the "current time" and "last visit" times... I'd like that changed too...

Did this ever get resolved?

My calendar appears to be set on GMT.
