So my forum has been active for a bit less than a couple years now. Initially, an online friend of mine created the forum, but has since relinquished any affiliation with me or the forum. For quite a while (several months at least) the forum disappeared like it was deleted, and mysteriously materialized apparently out of thin air a few months later. I have no idea how either of those events happened (it definitely wasn't the creator), but I no longer have administrator rights to my own forum.

I would rather not be forced to create a new forum, and none of the users would really feel very compelled to migrate to a new one after spending so long at our current.

So, how can I recover sole administrative rights to my forum?

You cannot recover your administrative rights, because you are not the founder of the forum.

Only if the founder of the forum has been inactive for more than 6 months Only then you can get founder access, by PM'ing Typlo & providing him the information.

You need one more post to be able to send PM's.
