My name is Ray Cates and I am a writer and teacher. You can find many of my short stories by going to the search engines and reading my stories. I also write under the name Adolphus.

I live in Florida, but grew up in Tennessee. My military service was in the Navy and Air Force.

I graduated several times from the University of Florida and also from law school. I have been a 'all my life' student. I still take courses when I have time. I am now 69 years old.
