Would you like to be able to have multiple badges?
Multiple Badges
I give out badges for different accomplishments that my members make. It is very difficult to take several badges, and make it one image for every member on my forum. It would be much easier if there could be multiple badges given by the administrator.

Re: Multiple Badges
I too give Badges Easily and there is no need for me to make it into a Pic and all Those, you need to make a Text field with "Text Zone" activated in your ACP at the Profile section.See the link below to know what i do

This is the code I post

Re: Multiple Badges
But then you still need to make tons of different combos for the Badges.
Lets say you have a badge for having the most posts, a badge for liking the color red, a badge for liking the sun, and a badge liking oranges (all hypothetical of course). You would then need to make 24 different ranks for all the different combinations of badges. It would be much easier if you could just select the badges for specific users or groups.

Type : = an image
Description : = up to you
URL icon : up to you
Necessarily filled ? = no
Display = profile and messages
Display type : = text or text and icon
Who can modify the profile field value ? = no one witch means only you can or the admin
Display this field for users that are at least : = members
Separator : = back to the line
An image
Default content : This field must contain the address internet of an image
put the image url their
Alternate text : Image description = dont need to fill this in
the second An image:
You can replace the contents of this field for all the users of the forum by the default value.
Pay attention to this feature because it will not be possible to go back !
click replace the content and your done then the default image will be added to all users profiles
and you can then go on to any users profile hover over the the the image til you see the icon click it and it will open the edit mode then you can put any new Badge image you want their

Re: Multiple Badges
i agree this should be added
and to show you how it should look i made this presentation
This system can be put as an option [b] PA => Users & Groups => Users => Profiles [/ b] to create a profile customization that consists of access to select multiple images, it can help a lot if want to hold contests on the forum and make it more interesting example
in this photo you can see the list of icons
<-This can be selected more images not only a
and here as images placed in profile
and, if possible at each image to be added a redirect link when someone clicks on the image to take you to a page which shows all the images you need to do to win every picture and when an image is pressed in that page showing a list of those who hold those awards to be a page like this

Re: Multiple Badges
I know there's a way to do this, but it's hard. I think it would be an awesome idea! Voted yes.
Re: Multiple Badges
This is exactly what I need please add this?
Actually it would be sufficent to give the ability of multiple choice on Images list
As you can add multiple images but you can only choose one out of them to be displayed.

Re: Multiple Badges
I think this could be a good one to vote yes for so you have my vote
It would be more better to have the setting in the ACP for us to set
The way i do this is to add a code to the profile each time and it's a ling way around it right now back and forth to photobucket to get a url code

Re: Multiple Badges
What I would really enjoy which I think is what you guys are getting at is in the profile field choice 'multiple choice' or 'image list' a way to select more than one image in that list instead of manually adding a bunch of fields just for one image... but I am not really looking toward 'the nations idea' of image list where I can select only one choice you know?

Re: Multiple Badges
You can now by using the Character Sheet. Just place their award there and then let the user decide which of the three can be seen in their posts.

I've voted yes and this needs to be considered for an update >.<
This would really be helpful!

Re: Multiple Badges
I voted with a BIG yes. Multiple Choice Images please. There is an option for Multiple Choice for text but not for images, very strange. It would be a great feature and many Forumotion forum users have asked for this feature in the past.
I tried making a gift/rewards system last night but only 1 image per member is permitted, it was doing my head in until I realised it's not possible.
I can only see it being done within each members signature which allows for abuse of a gift/rewards system. Not only that but it means altering members accounts.
Maybe Forumotion will give all of us a 2013 Xmas gift and implement this feature

Re: Multiple Badges
Arh Yes there is a way. Thanks Kaizer Lee, I had to re-read what Behaviours???'s wrote. It still took a while to work out but it's possible and working on my forum
For those wanting to do it, this is what I did...
Log into your Administration Control Panel > Users & Groups > Profiles.
In your Fields table, scroll down to the bottom of the list and click on the green arrow to add Special Fields.
Field Edit
Type : Text zone
Name : Badges, Gifts, Awards etc (name it what you want)
Description : (Badges, Gifts, Awards earned etc Can leave blank)
URL Icon :
Necessarily filled : No
Display : Tick Profiles and/or Messages
Display type : Icon + Text
Who can modify the profile field value? : Moderators
Display this field for users that are at least : Guests (Choose who can see the Badges, Gifts Awards)
Separator : Back to line
Click on Save.
Now assuming you have already hosted your images online somewhere, go to your forum and click on a users name. Scroll down their profile and look for your new field that you have created eg Badges, Gifts, Awards etc.
Hover your mouse pointer over the new field and click on the small orange and green arrow. A text box will open up.
Now paste your image code into this box and then click on the green tick to Validate the image link. It should then show the Badge, Gift or Award image. You will need to use the image code with image tags.
You can now add as many Badges, Gifts or Awards to each members accounts.
----------------
If you would like to use a virtual points/cash system for members to buy Gifts or for them to buy for other members which is what I'm using now on my forum, click on this link below. It will show you how members can buy Gifts with their forum points

Thanks once again.
