Widget at top for forums?

Is it possible to have a widget on the top of the forum's contents? I know I can on left and right...

I just want a box there where I can display some text and probably images...

I'm sorry but a widget at the top of the forum isn't possible, however there are several alternatives;

1) Use the homepage message
Admin panel >> Display ( Tab ) >> Generalities > Homepage message

2) Use the scrolling announcements
Admin panel >> General ( Tab ) >> Announcements

3) Using template editing on PunBB & PHPBB2
I'd recommend the above 2 first
