How about us forum users/owners pay a 1 off fee to have things made to their specification

I.E on my site i would like

1. Members time scaled within a group

2. Tappa talk addon

3. a Garage addon


these are just 3 things off the top of my head that 1 would like on my site, now i can see that the forumotion staff's time is wasted developing this just for a small minority to use but it is still something i would like
