PayPal
I have a PayPal Donate Button on my old blog - Blogspot. That was easy - just follow the online instructions. There were several instructions, I looked at many of them and compared notes.
Getting a PayPal Donate Button on RoflForum is not easy. The best instructions on the forum direct me to Paypal - getting the code for a PayPal Donate Button. OH JOY! I did that already. Where do I put the code?
I tried Administration Panel > Modules > Forum Widgets > Forum Widget Management > Create a widget. I copied and pasted the code I have from Blogspot. I added the personal widget to both column 1 and 3. It's not there. I refreshed my RoflForum blog. I looked throughout my blog; no Paypal donate button.
Getting the Paypal Donate Button code from Paypal is easy. What do I do with the code? :frustrated:

Re: PayPal
I don't know if the code points to my paypal account, I hope not, think that comes later, but in either case, better safe than sorry.
Here is most of the code
<form action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post">
<input type="hidden" name="cmd" value="_s-xclick">
<input type="hidden" name="encrypted" value="-----BEGIN PKCS7-----
with a non-stop sting of characters until it gets to
-----END PKCS7-----
">
<input type="image" src="https://www.paypal.com/en_US/i/btn/btn_donateCC_LG.gif" border="0" name="submit" alt="PayPal - The safer, easier way to pay online!">
<img alt="" border="0" src="https://www.paypal.com/en_US/i/scr/pixel.gif" width="1" height="1">
</form>
do you need to see the non-stop string of characters?
thanks for your help.

Re: PayPal
Hello BikeToAustralia,
On certain skins and forum versions, the widgets don't actually show up for some unknown reason. I think you've got a valid code, you just need somewhere to put it. Here are some places:
1. Homepage message
2. Widget, but change your skin or forum version so they show up.
3. In a forum description.
Regards,
Base
