I want to start a backup of my forum myself after i edited something.
And.. i want to be able to download the backup of the hole forum (full backup) to my pc. If something happens i want to be able to restore it from my own backup!

The Utilities - backup and restore - this might be what you're looking for.

What full back up? There's no downloadable full back up system on forumotion, the only way you can back up your forum is by the back up utilities provided on the link by dumbledore27 above.

Is there any 3rd party software that can backup a forum?

Well, theres always a backup option.
I mean, I can manually backup threads by going File>Save as> on the brower. Time consuming though. Page by page.
Just wondering if there was software that backs up entire threads with one button.
Although I guess you could create a macro to do it.

Hey that gives me an idea. Smile
