What kind of script am I looking for?
I am looking for a script that makes a cirtain object (such as an image or a word) float towards a cirtain position "after" scrolling down. So Im not looking for the "fixed" property that css has but, I am really looking for a script that forces an object to keep moving towards a cirtain position (down and up) when scrolling.

Re: What kind of script am I looking for?
I forgot to mention what I intent to use it for:
I want to make something like a buttonpicture containing an arrow pointing up. This will be the "cirtain object" I discribed.
I want this buttonpicture to force the browser in going back to the top of the page.
The button is supposed to follow after the scrolling, searching for the same position it had before the browser scrolled.
I am avoiding the "fixed" property of CSS becouse it has a higher risk of being left unnoticed.

most accurately you once again, hit the nail on the spot.
with "this" I might even be able to fix something I allready had in mind for a long time.
Now however, I have a question about "how" I can position that picture in a different way.
The situation is the following:
I have a homepage with a width of 724px
If you have a screenresolution higher than 600*800(most people have 768*1024 or higher) then the button is too far away from the content.
Would I be able to locate this button "within" the content part but allways on a fixed height of the screen?
How would I need to do that? Is this positioning possible using css alone?
*offtopic: is that avatar from "Junjo Romantica"?

Well, guidelines about setting the offsets is given on the same page. Please go through them and you'll learn how to place the button exactly where you want.
