Solved HTML Alignment

Post by Clug on May 31st 2010, 12:57 pm

Hey Guys Hello
I'm coding a front page for my website and have run into a problem with the alignment. With widgets on the forum, you can have something (like text) on the left, and something (like buttons) on the right, literally next to each other. I've got my text:
Code:

<div align=left>
Insert Text Here
</align>
and I've got my buttons:
Code:
<div align=right>
Insert Buttons Here
</align>
I need to know, how to I put it like a widget, so they literally go on the same lines kind of. When I try it, wherever I paste the buttons code, it just goes above/below where the text is, yet it still goes on the right like asked.

Any ideas?
Thanks,
Clug

Try a single row table with multiple <td> cells
Code:
<table border="0"><tr>
<td>Text Here</td> <td>Button Here</td>
</tr></table>

Positioned with a div
Code:
<div align="center"><table border="0"><tr>
<td>Text Here</td> <td>Button Here</td>
</tr></table></div>
