Should Forumotion add more features for credits?
More features and uses for Credits (Google and FB ads, better server etc.)
Aren't you tired of buying/having credits and not having anything good to spend them on? Or not having good to buy credits for? I am. I mean, we have only 3 things to buy. Almost nobody uses the Gallery, so why making its bandwidth larger? Almost all Forumotions forums get a free domain because of their activity, don't they? The ads can be set for guests only, so why on earth to spend credits on hiding them? To me these uses are more useless than useful ![]() I say techs and FM admins should add more features for them. Here are some ideas you may like... - Spending credits on Google and Facebook ads (for your forum to be on them) - - - A better server where to host your forum - - - - etc. Why Credits? Because it's very easy to get them, for people that don't have a bank account but a cellphone! It's very easy to get money because the members can donate easily and you can get credits from FM contests, as well. If you like my idea, please help me bumping this topic and also don't forget to vote on the poll above. Thanks a bunch! ![]() |

Voted Yes.
Only for that what we have available for credits now, I wouldn't purchase them (except maybe for a domain), even if I'd have any.

If forumotion stops giving away free domain names, then you'll know why, heehee...
I'm voting yes.
Have you seen some of those themes? heehee...
I've suggested that we should be able to purchase more HTML pages for our forums already. My forum offers tutorials and helpful guides, and I have more freedom when it comes to SEO for HTML pages.
I'm voting yes.
So, we should use credits to purchase themes from a site similar to hitskin?@TheListener wrote:- Buying some exclusive skins & graphics

Already suggestion and of course I voted yes. My forum is phpBB3 and I'm not switching to phpBB2 or punBB. ( most hated forum versions )@TheListener wrote:- Buying phpBB3 and invision template editing
I'd actually purchase this. A way to get away from the load, lol.@TheListener wrote:- A better server where to host your forum

@ Marc: Those are good questions and a good suggestion about the HTML pages. There could be a site where people could upload their themes (really good themes), we could buy them, and then they'd get a part of the credits, FM would get the other one.
FM could be finally accepting phpBB3 editing if we give them money. (Hey, who just said bribe? Nah just kidding
)
And the better server would be just awesome
Thanks for voting.

I voted yes, but some of these things would take a lot of work on Forumotion's end.
I would like more stuff to spend credits on, but there's really nothing you can't already do without spending credits.

Thank you all for voting, except the jerks that voted "No" without giving an explanation. Cowards

Last I checked we are allowed to vote without telling anyone. Is one vote going to kill a suggestion? I don't think so.
Re: More features and uses for Credits (Google and FB ads, better server etc.)
I understand the main idea if a uggestion is getting feedback about it, isn't it? I also understand I can get whether positive or negatives vote, right? Yes, I do.
However, the idea of 'feedback' doesn't only imply the fact of choosing the "No" option and hitting the Submit button, does it?

If you don't like my idea, voting no with no reason is not going to help a all. A reason is needed.
And I used the words 'cowards' and 'jerks' because it's probably one of those spammy lifeless admins who doesn't like me and thinks voting 'no' will make this suggestion go down, even though it ahs 17 positive votes aleady
