Customize Registration Form

please help? i wanna edit my registration profile
when someone whould like to register..like
he/she have to activated his/her account first before he/she can
log in,he or she have to choose his avatar birthday,confirm password
and etc. please response thnx in advance.i'm new here.

Admin Panel>Users & groups(tab)>user options>'New Accounts Activation': set it to 'user'>save changes

That settings would give the members to activate first their account by an e-mail sent after their registrations. See if it helps.

thnx for that it works but what i want to edit
is the registration form..
because it is so shor..
it's ony username,password then email.

Change permissions of profile fields on:
Admin panel> Users & Groups> Profiles> from there, click modify button to all fields you want to show on registration form(this only available for some)> now, after that, check the box where it says 'Necessarily filled?', set it to yes, > save changes
