Red cross in box instead of smilie

Could anyone explain why some of my smilies appear like this in posts and yet the smilie appears ok in the smilie box and in admin, i'm confused thanks in advance

it could be the page is not loading all the way.
if the smile is still in the box.. then it means the image link is still working.
so it could be the page in not loading all the way..

there was a few other people asking about this earlier.. so we have to find out of it's something temp thing happening on forumotions end.

Hi Kirk, thank you, i've just asked my members not to use them for the moment as it looks really messy

There is a big problem with Smilies right now there is a only topic for this

i Found if you post with Firefox them the problem is not there but if any one was to post with Internet E then its there so i have asked all members no to use them at all for now.
