Potential security risk of attached files?
The founder of my forum has chosen to not allow uploading of attached files because of potential security risks.
As his appointed admin, I would like to turn on the 'attach file' feature for the members' convenience. Forumotion itself allows file attachments. Are there other reasons I can use to assure him that uploading the permitted files won't cause problems?
Thx

Re: Potential security risk of attached files?
Its up to the admin's who want to attachments. There is always a harm of downloading anything but that is for everything.
