Can I use these icons for my forum?

I have found some vbulletin icons from a vbulletin forum and I saved then on my computer. They are little folders that display when there are new posts on a popular or a non-popular thread, locked thread, no new posts on a thread and new posts. So, my question is : Can I use them on my forum or is this illigal, because it is vbulletin? If it is not, can someone quarrentee that it isn't (illigal)? I would not like to lose my website because of that. Thank you.

Use the icons from the hitskin. ( vBulletin icons )

Don't use them from another vBulletin forum. Keep the image links, hitskin's image links

and that would not be illegal cuz they are from Hitskin

They look good exept that they are a bit chopped at the edges... Any way to fix this??
