Problems with Navbar spacing

Post by drachemeister on June 22nd 2010, 7:59 am

Recently, I added new images for the buttons on my Navbar. Unfortunately, that made my Forum look horrible. There is no spacing between the Navbar and the text around it. Can anybody tell me how to increase the spacing between the Navbar and the text around it? Any help will be appreciated.

Here's an image in case my description isn't enough.

Hello,

You can add space in the templates. Please navigate to Admin CP > Display > Templates > General > overall_header_new.

Find this code there....

Code:
<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" align="{MENU_POSITION}">
               <tr>
                  <td align="{MENU_POSITION}"{MENU_NOWRAP}>{GENERATED_NAV_BAR}</td>
               </tr>
            </table>

...and add <br /><br /> tags before and after the code. Like this...

Code:
<br /><br /><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" align="{MENU_POSITION}">
               <tr>
                  <td align="{MENU_POSITION}"{MENU_NOWRAP}>{GENERATED_NAV_BAR}</td>
               </tr>
            </table><br /><br />

Now save the template, publish it and see if it works Very Happy
