Help with MU / MFire links not working Empty Help with MU / MFire links not working

Post by wolfy67 June 27th 2010, 1:58 am

Before I start here is my forum: http://wolfbytes.niceboard.org

I like to make graphics in my spare time and, since I've made so many for friends, I like to share them on my forum. Generally I will zip up multiple graphics into one easy-to-download RAR and put it on Megaupload and Mediafire.

Recently I notice all my MU and MF links are appearing broken in my forum. If I code it like this
Code:
[url=http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ELF5RWJ5] Megaupload [/url]
it appears on the forum like this
Megaupload

I've been sharing files in this manner since I opened the forum a few months ago. Is there any way to fix this problem? It's about to get extremely inconvenient -- I have a dozen or so tutorials I wanted to post but I need to include the original .psd and .xcf files with them. Sad

P.S. If I just type out the URL it shows up fine but for aesthetics I prefer to only display "Megaupload" instead of the entire URL.

Yes, I have also noticed forumotion screwing up URLs on my forum. All the urls get redirected to an ad. Not only that, but the text for the URL is also messed up like you said. I had everything nicely laid out in a post but now it looks ugly because the forum automatically changes the text of the URL.

What's going on Forumotion??

Hi guys, Try resynchronizing your forum to remove bugs:
https://help.forumotion.com/tricks-tips-f32/resynchronizing-your-forum-t50777.htm

If it still persists, it may be a major bug that can be forwarded to the techs.

Thank you for the reply zoids25. I have just completed a resync and the issue persists. The links still appear incorrectly.

I assume it's a problem with all forums hosted by Forumotion. The bad links appear on my forum as well as here, in the official help forum, as seen in the original post.

It's not a bug. My forum got this too.

I think this is some little update of FM about MF link and MU link.
