Well, this is my first time running a forumotion site.

And it's been quite a good bit of time, but I still have questions I can't figure out!

1. Is there a way to change my members' default sizes (As in KB, MB, etc)? (Idea because of Informe, a really bad website server...)
If anyone can answer this, I'd be very happy.

2. CHATBOX CUSTOMIZATION. (Pure imagination)
This one erks my members the most. When they go to chat into the chatbox, they have to constantly change the font color so their shouts don't mix in with the white bg. Is there any way to fix this at all? We'd all be greatly thankful if there's a solution.

3. CSS coding+ HTML coding= ??? (idea because of Invision)
Is there a way I can use HTMl in conjunction with CSS for holidays and such to spruce up my forum? (Example: Around Christmas, have falling snow. Begining of april could have rain...)

4. Can my members CHOOSE skins on my forum?(Idea because of Invision)
My forum's layout and forum name is based solely on Ocarina of Time. If that's the case, i wanna make a few options, like, Flooded Hyrule, Hyrule (7 years later), and just normal Hyrule. Maybe the Dark world, too. And maybe Termina...

Is there a way to let them choose... in the Preferences tab, perhaps?

What do you mean change members default sizes? That's kind of vague, i don't even think members have memory sizes? Unless you mean for the image.

And members can't choose skins, only admins can change the skin of a forum.

oh, whoops. Sorry, i completely missed that part.

I meant with their avatars. Like, the highest default is 64KB. Is there a way to change that?

Unfortunately no it can't go up, however it shouldn't affect the site in any wrong way at all. (If your complaint however is because you want a bigger size limit then well sorry).
You can only change their size as in pixel size, width and height. You can set maximum for it.
As for your question about CSS and HTML, for things like that, i could only suggest animated gifs, or embedding an SWF with the snow falling animation, making sure that the SWF has no BG (meaning just the default stage). I don't think there is such a thing as combining CSS and HTML but I'm not a programmer so i wouldn't know too well. But there's an idea for you.

This is an example of using HTML amimation rather than Adobe's Flash, http://www.hesido.com/web.php?page=animatedmenus

HTML 4 should wipe the floor with Flash. Go Open Source!
