about groups

Greeting I was wandering how does this work I can only make them moderators. I was wandering is it possible to make a group and allow them to read a part of the forum and only them. As I can only see in promissions guest,members,monitors and admin I even mad a group to test and there not there.

Indeed this is possible, but first you need to know that Admin's can always see everything

Head to group administration

• Admin panel >> Users & Groups ( Tab ) >> Groups administration > Add the group + it's members > Save.
  Now head back to your forum permissions
  
• Admin panel >> General ( tab ) >> Categories & Forum > hit the X/Tick of the desired forum (or create one) > And DISallow everyone, and ALLOW that group alone > save.
  

Now you should have only that group & admins see that specific forum

Ok I done all that but still I am forced to make the topics on reading and writing all or members only so if someone registers they will be passed as member. I made the forums for a clan and I wish for clan member to have privilege to open more thread then just registered members.

That is more or less the same problem I am having.
