How to restrict an area until post quota met?

Post by Ghost Wytch on July 5th 2010, 9:01 am

Hi Everyone. Happy 4th of July!!!

Ok, so I've read through all the FAQ's and the Tips & Tricks. And I'm not finding an answer to my question. I hope I didn't miss it and this is going to be a redundent post. Sorry ahead of time if it is.
Anyway....I want a certain area to be off limits until members have have xx amount of posts. I've seen it done on lots of other forums. But I can't figure out for the life of me how to do this.

Can anyone help me with this....please :-)

TIA!!

Create a group, where users are added to the group by minimum # of posts. Then change the permissions for such group as you wish.

For this to work, make sure you already have a basic member group in place as well.
