Domain Denied Due to Violation of TOS Empty Domain Denied Due to Violation of TOS

Post by xgtb July 3rd 2010, 5:59 pm

Recently, I have received a free domain name courtesy of forumotion due to my active forums of around 1,300 Members. Up until I applied for a domain name I had forgotten a few things that violated the TOS that my forums had. Now, I have 1 week before my forum is deleted and fixed everything up and is now according to the TOS. I was wondering if my chances got ruined or can I still get a free domain? here is the email that I received.

Dear Forumotion user,

Your domain name ??????.net request has been refused.

Reason:
The forum and/or the domain name do not respect our Terms of Service.

For any question, please contact Forumotion admin by email : typlo@forumotion.com

Regards,
Forumotion team

I am also not sure of this but I need help setting up my Godaddy domain to register along with forumotion.

Hello,

if you clean your forum up, then there will be no loss of your free domain.
You can only have 1 domain at a time, here's a guide for setting an external domain (via go daddy) up.
