Warning Boxes
Warning Boxes
Hey Guys!

In my Warning Bars thread, someone told me that bars were getting a bit old, so I decided to come up with something original. I was going to do batteries, but then I remember seeing someone else do them, so here are my original boxes.

Re: Warning Boxes
I agree, I'm not sure what size I can shrink them to to make them look good though. I tried halfing the size and it failed.
Re: Warning Boxes
They look big for warning bar field, the font could have been better

Re: Warning Boxes
Zoids, what other fonts should I have used? I've done two completely different font sets

Re: Warning Boxes
A little too big, but they look great on my dark background! Yet the red one (25%) doesn't look good on a light background because the text is white.
Re: Warning Boxes
You could of used a better font that doesn't look like Sans. Also, the gradients that you used are horrible, no offence. I definitely suggest making the gradients a lot more lighter.

Re: Warning Boxes
I figured they'd be too big. I can't make them smaller though
I might just delete these all together, or delete them and make new ones. I've been told the gradient's bad, and the size. I might just come up with a different idea.

Re: Warning Boxes
I like them, they're just too big.
But still, why delete them? And it's a completely new idea.

Hi!
On your 50% and your 25% warning boxes, I strongly advise you to make the text a different colour (preferably black).

I'll consider it

Thanks BlueSky

Re: Warning Boxes
Size-wise, everything's been said so no repeating
As Rok said, the gradient is enormous. I'd say you should try reducing the difference between the two colors, have something a little softer.
Also, dark forum doesn't rhym with flashy. The colors should have a lower saturation so as they stick in with the backround. Okay, you want everyone to know who's in the red, but it doesn't need to be written with a hot poker that glows (actually.... maybe it does

Re: Warning Boxes
Thanks for the suggestions. I'm gonna completely redo them at a new size with a new gradient soon.
