BB code problem

Hello, I own a forum with younger members on it.

They have literally NO clue how bb code works.

When they try to make words colored, bold, ect, bb code tags come up.
Why can't it just happen?
They get so confused with the tags.

If they pick bold, why can't the words just be bold rather then the BB coding poping up.

Just a side note:
I am not talking about the message. When submitted, all colors and codes work.
Its just them while editing there post, topic, ect, tags pop up. Is there a way to prevent tags for doing so?

Why not ask them to hit the a/A button, then try editing. Atleast they know what they are changing then.

Were is this button at?

Its there where you type the posts at the top right hand side.

General>Messages and Emails>Configuration
Activate the WYSIWYG mode by default in the posts : Yes
Save
