Since after the death of my parents, I have been in a very big difficulty of how to protect my life and move on with life. I need your help I will appreciate to come over to your country life here is very bad, I'm afraid I do not know how and where to start with life, please if you can help me answer as soon as possible, you will never regret helping me, I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

I didn't click on any links in the email, nor have I ever 'responded' to anything on any BBC News site. Have the complete header for the email if Typlo or mod needs it.

Besides banning this person in every way available to us, is there any other way to keep this sort of thing from happening other than setting the board to Admin member acceptance only?

P.S. We really do need something in the ACP that shows the person's IP used upon registering.

*EDIT: Just got notice from a member of my board that they were sent the exact same email to their personal email account from my board.

Hello,

is this member possibly a mod/admin?
Could it be coming from your contact us form in the footer?

Nope... There are no mods or any other admins on my board other than me, it was a newly registered member that utilized the 'email' utility.

There is no specific way of really avoiding this.

Is it possible for FM to ban this person's IP from all of FM or at least my board since we aren't capable of seeing their registration IP address? I only assume FM has this capability since we're given the option in the ACP to allow so many daily registrations from the same IP address. Thanks.

Maybe the email came through the "contact" button on your footer?

What I meant by the other member, is the member that also received the spam Email.

I doubt the IP is known as it currently is, so it's impossible to IP ban TT

I'm crying right along with you Darren... I've been wanting the ability to see a member's registration IP for a veeerrry long time.

Guess I'll go back to member confirmation upon registration for the time being. This may at least disway them a bit.
