Don't want the alternating colors on threads/posts

Post by Honor on July 14th 2010, 8:45 pm

I need a CSS code that will make all posts on my forum the same color. Right now it alternates between light grey and dark grey. I need it to be so that all the posts are one color, like the light blue posts here.

I also have one member who's complaining of having posting issues. She uses IE. The CSS coding has something about IE hack in it. Would that have anything to do with it?

For the color problem, go to Admin Panel > Display > Pictures and colors > Colors > Text color : select the hex code Smile
As for the other problem, the only advice I have is to switch to another browser :/

Hello,

1) A further direction in the colours to change are: I think Table color 1 & 2
2) Don't worry about that, it's just there so people who use horrible IE can still use forums in modern coding Wink
It's not something that is an actual hack.

Fixed the alternating colors, thanks Very Happy

As for that, I rebuilt the skin from a default template as opposed to a hitskin I had accidentally built on top of (working on a test site, and didn't figure in the fact that the skin kept the css coding from the previous skin - one that had a ton of forced round-abouts to the css coding). So now just waiting to see if she will still have trouble next time she does come in.
