I cant change my avatar on Forumotion

Okay, so I apparently made the mistake of putting an avatar that had the URL address of my forum on it. I thought that was OK because its a forumotion forum and this is.. forumotion.. Well apparently it's against the rules, fine. The avatar was removed and I was PM'd a message from an Admin that I cant have an avatar like that.

Now my problem is since then I have not been able to add an avatar, at all. What's the problem? Can somebody authorized fix this? I made a mistake, the avatar was removed. I see no reason why I cant put an avatar at all now..

I can understand your frustration, however, that is no way to speak to anyone. There is no section on this site for this type of topic. If you need help, PM the staff member who took away your avatar.

I am almost sure there is no way to take away someone's avatar rights.

I'm Sorry. I didn't mean any harm however yes I am frustrated about this because it seems like the rules get thrown at me a lot without actual help to the main point of the thread(s).

I have tried to PM the admin "Luky" who sent me the PM and it said he does not accept PM's from members.. Also I have wrote other Mods and Admins about issues before and none of them ever reply to my PMs. So I didn't even bother wasting my time PMing them again to receive no help, instead I made a topic here because I didn't know where else to put it. Also the description of this forum says "Talk about anything that is legit dealing with Forumotion."

You can take Admin rights off members on ForuMotion forums in the admin panel, so Luky has probably done that.

I tried that. Besides I use firefox all the time and didnt have a problem changing my avatar before. Also I can change my avatar on my own forum without a problem using firefox. Clearly my right to select an avatar must have been removed. Which is ridiculous. A simple removal of the avatar I had is fine, but to remove my right to put up an avatar all together? Wow... This is the type of inconvenience that stops users from visiting a forum.

Surely you can wait a couple of weeks, it's not a huge thing that u must have an avatar. Look at me, Ive chosen to not have an avatar for several weeks now.

True, its not entirely a serious issue however I dont believe I even should be waiting weeks just to have the ability to put an avatar. Forums are suppose to allow individuality and uniqueness of its users. Sometimes people can spot your post by mainly your avatar and not your actual name on the site. I think I deserve to have a unique avatar on this forum just as anyone else here.

Bump. Helping me with this issue is appreciated. I have now tried to PM Typlo and even he doesnt allow members to PM him all of a sudden. Just great... More inconvenience .

Both admins are away. So no need to get frustrated & just wait it out.
